Interchange (Virtual) 2021

The Career Development Service, in collaboration with ACU International are excited to open applications to the sixth annual Interchange Challenge.

Every year we are amazed to see just how “life changing” the Interchange process has been for ACU students. Have a quick look here at Raajpal’s experience (Tear to eye warning!)

Last year saw the program go virtual for the first time and it did not disappoint. Program hosts The Frank Team are creative visionaries and we saw ‘online’ become entertaining, motivational and engaging. Think DJ’s in breaks, dancers on que to wake students up at intervals, guided meditations, drumming. Not to mention the AMAZING motivational key speakers. One keynote from 2020 was from the company Orange Sky, a hugely successful not for profit and social entrepreneurship venture with which an ACU alumni played a significant role in the early success of the company.

The results of Interchange 2020 speak volumes of the students motivation and passion to the projects they worked on. ACU students reached a new high with their teams awarded 1, 2 and 3 place as well as being the People’s Choice winner.

Get involved, you won’t be disappointed and did we mention, this is going to look FANTASTIC on your resume!!

An inter-university skill building competition, students from seven universities are placed in mixed teams where together they identify and then work to solve a social and/or environmental problem. Throughout the program you will be coached and mentored by experienced university alumni. Significantly challenged by new ways of thinking, you will work your way through the design thinking process. The experience brings with it hands on learning of the fundamentals of social entrepreneurship as you build advanced employability skills in design thinking, innovation, networking, agility, resilience, team work. The intensity of this program, as well as the facilitation, will without a doubt establish new friendships and networks for you. The skills you will develop in Interchange 2021 are highly sort after employability skills needed in all areas of graduate employment. Primarily funded for International Students, this year we have opened applications to International and a percentage of Domestic students. HURRY WE HAVE LIMITED PLACES.

Come and join the fun and learning during Winter recess. This experience could be your game changer! Check out further information here:
