The Career Development Service and ACU International are excited to bring you the ACU Work Rights Volunteer Program, now open to both international and domestic ACU students across ALL campuses for the first time!

As an ACU Work Rights Volunteer you will receive online training from the Fair Work Ombudsman on 4 February 2021, and your role will be to provide international and domestic students with information on their employment rights and conditions, about services they can access and how to resolve workplace issues. Ensuring your fellow students understand their workplace rights and responsibilities is particularly important during this time!

Throughout the program, you will enhance your employability through utilising a range of skills including - leadership, cultural intelligence and communication skills. Work Rights Volunteers will receive training and guidance from the Careers team about how to update their resumes and explain the experience to future employers in interviews.

This program is open to international and domestic students from all ACU campuses and is part of the Leading with Impact Program. Short-listing of applicants will take place in January 2021.
