ACU Career Advantage Program
Student Jobs on Campus and ACU’s Career Development Service (Office of Student Success) are offering students an opportunity to participate in a 90 minute online workshop. This workshop will provide you with valuable insights to ‘put your best foot forward’ in the workplace and stand out from the crowd by highlighting the importance of professionalism in the workplace, why it is important and how it can be achieved.
Topics covered are:
- The importance of professionalism in the workplace
- Personal image and presentation
- Communication skills including: face-to-face, email and phone
- Background and eligibility to register on ACU Student Jobs on Campus Solutions
What is SJC Solutions?
SJC Solutions is an online platform where ACU staff have access to view students who have created a profile on SJC Solutions. ACU staff are able to search for students with relevant skills and work experience and offer them short-term paid roles and volunteering opportunities. SJC Solutions has already employed several students who have created their profiles. You could be next to get a paid job on campus! To be eligible to register on the Student Jobs on Campus Solutions system, students must first successfully complete the ACU Career Advantage workshop.
Please note, successful completion of ACU Career Advantage program and registration of Student Jobs on Campus Solutions does not guarantee individuals an offer of employment as it is dependent on hiring managers’ individual needs and requirements for specific roles.
